In four saliva samples, we were unable to measure melatonin levels. The melatonin assay was performed after the cortisol assay, and in the case of two samples, there was not enough saliva for the melatonin assay. The other two cases were for saliva collected at , and one plausible reason might be that melatonin offset could have occurred earlier.
